We have lost another very fine gentleman and superior model railroader, to say nothing about the wonderful friend and person we have lost. If you were at Jim Perske’s funeral you may recall Lowell saying rather loudly during the service “I’m right behind you Jim!”. I have a vision of those two sitting on the back platform of a C & O Caboose enjoying a glass of wine as the train winds its way through the coal country – being pulled by a rather large steam engine.
Lowell was unable to travel with us us to our most recent shows, and he was missed.
